A number of Garden State fighters will appear on the October 8 card at the Arena in Philadelphia, PA.
In the ten round main event, former title contender Mike Arnaoutis of Atlantic City will battle unbeaten and well regarded hometown favorite Danny "Swift" Garcia of Philadelphia.
Arnaoutis, 22-6-2 (10 KO's), has seen better days, dropping four of his last five, including three that weren't particularly competitive. In his last bout, Arnaoutis lost a near shut out decision to fellow Kendall Holt conqueror Demetrius Hopkins.
Garcia, 18-0 (12 KO's), is one of Golden Boy Promotions' top prospects. The former amateur standout is fighting in Philadelphia for just the third time and has stopped his last two opponents.
Garcia-Arnaoutis will take place in the welterweight division.
Brian Green of Vineland, 5-3 (3 KO's), will look to overcome a one year layoff and two straight losses when he takes on the always entertaining Victor Vazquez, 11-4-1 (6 KO's), of Philadelphia in a six rounder. The bout is taking place in the lightweight division.
Super Featherweights Jason Sosa of Camden (3-0-1, 1 KO) and Wanzell Ellison (2-0, 2 KO's) of Newark will square off over four rounds for statewide bragging rights.
Middleweight Alex Sanchez, 1-1 (1 KO), of Camden also matches up against Philadelphia's Joe Dunn (0-1).
