Asbury Park's Chris "Smooth Operator" Green and Toms River's Deroy "Guyanese Warrior" Beaton will each spend their Halloween night in Connecticut looking to wreck havoc at Mohegan Sun Casino.
Beaton, 1-0, takes on unbeaten local favorite Edwin Soto 1-0 (1 KO), over four rounds at Junior Welterweight. Beaton is the definition of a late bloomer in the sport. The 32 year old Guyanese native laced up a pair of gloves for the first time less than three years ago and only had 20 amateur fights. GSFS was on hand for Beaton's debut, a four round decision victory over crowd favorite Jason Sia.
Green, 3-1-1 (1 KO), challenges 6-0 (2 KO's) Frank Trader in a four round Lightweight contest. Green's most recent bout to date was a six round decision over Luquan Lewis in August. The 23 year old Trader most recently scored a unanimous decision victory over rugged veteran Francisco Palacios.
