Sources notified GSFS that Paterson's Ossie Duran, Jersey City's Patrick Farrell and Union City's Jason Escalera will be featured in separate bouts as part of a special Sunday afternoon card June 13 at the Hyatt Regency in Philadelphia.
Duran, 24-8-2 (9 KO's) will fight an opponent TBA over eight rounds. The gritty Duran will get a rare showcase as the A side, as the Ghanian based middleweight had served as an opponent for top fighters such as James Kirkland, David Lopez and Fernando Guerrero amongst others.
Team Duran notified us earlier today that they are trying to lock a respectable opponent, but have already been rebuffed.
Farrell, 5-0 (3 KO's) and Escalera, 8-0 (7 KO's) are both coming of off impressive victories and will face TBA.
