Valenzuela to face Fortuna December 1!

Passaic's Victor "The Viper" Valenzuela, 8-0 (1 KO), will face fellow unbeaten junior lightweight Javier Fortuna December 1 at BB King's in NYC.

Valenzuela has been inactive since scoring a split decision over Delvin Placencia June 4 in AC, and will take a step up in competition;at least on paper

Fortuna is 12-0 with 9 KO's and has built his record up mostly in his native Dominican Republic against inferior opposition. In his last bout, Fortuna scored a razor thin unanamous decision over Gregorio Torres in Mexico.

The bout is scheduled for 8 rounds.
