North Bergen based Peruvian Carlos "Mina" Zambrano scored a career best victory over rugged Lante Addy last Saturday at Washington School. Zambrnao, a gifted boxer, showed solid power and put on a great show, stopping Addy with a vicious multi punch combo in the eighth round. Addy, who previously went the distance with two time Olympic Gold Medalist Guillermo Rigondeaux, was stopped for the first time as a professional.
Zambrano also stamped his ticket as one of the top prospects in the Garden State.
