Unbeaten North Bergen based Peruvian prospects Carlos "Mina" Zambrano 8-0 (3 KO's) and Juan "JZ" Zegarra, 3-0 (3 KO's), will look to remain perfect December 5 in Ontario, CA
Recognized as one of the best amateurs boxers in his country's history, Zambrano takes on Carlos Francis Hernandez 14-8-1 (5 KO's) in an eight round featherweight contest while. The experienced Hernandez battled former world champions Johnny Tapia, Eric Morel and prospect Dat Nguyen among others.
The hard hitting Zegarra battles 0-1 Mexican Javier Romero, who interestingly enough lost to an 11-0 fighter in his debut.
Zambrano and Zegarra both impressed last time out, scoring a unanimous decision victory and a third round knockout respectively September 18 in Yonkers, NY.
The card is being staged at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
