A Ten Count For Tony Thornton

Garden State Fight Scene is sad to report the passing of “The Punching Postman” Tony Thornton. Thornton passed away Thursday at a Camden hospital following complications from a motorcycle accident he was in last week. Thornton was a tough contender, tangling with stars such as Roy Jones, James Toney, Steve Collins and Chris Eubank. A Glassboro native, Thornton fought 30 times in his home state, finishing his solid career with a 37-7-1 record (26 KO's). GSFS sends our condolences out to the family and friends of Thornton.
