Glassboro based super middleweight Derrick Webster will take on fellow New Jerseyan Andre Espeut of Morristown Friday night at the Arena (formerly known as the New Alhambra) in Philadelphia.
Webster had an approximate 31-4 amateur record and has been terrific thus far as a pro. The hard hitting southpaw is a perfect 5-0 with 4 KO's, most recently stopping Pete Guthy February 27.
Espeut, 2-1 (1 KO) enters the squared circle with hopes of rebounding from his lone loss to Union City's Jason Escalera last May. Although he dropped a clear cut decision, Espeut's style made him the only man to make it the distance against the hard hitting Escalera.
The bout is scheduled for four rounds.
