Wolak Stops Pinzon in 7!



Pawel "Raging Bull" Wolak, a late replacement for Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. who ironically ended up taking another opponent on short notice after Chavez Jr. called in sick earlier this week, stopped Mexico's Jose Pinzon in the 7th round of their ten round middleweight showdown.

Pinzon appeared en route to scoring an upset in the second when he dropped the Mount Arlington based Pole, but the latter overcame a few rough moments and weathered the storm. Wolak battling back to break down and stop Pinzon on his feet in the seventh round of an entertaining bout. Time of stoppage was 2:24

Wolak is now 28-1 with 18 KO's. Pinzon falls to 18-2-1 (12 KO''s).

With the victory, Wolak should find himself on the cusp of a big fight
